I originally watched this as a series years ago on ABC if i recall correctly. And I love it now just as I loved it then. Oprah Winfrey, Lonette McKey, Cicely Tyson, Robin Givens, Jackee', Lynn Whitfield, they all were superb! A great add to your collection if you like movies like dramas such as this that has a good plot and ending...

I read all the reviews before purchasing the DVD so as the old saying goes you cant be mad at what you already know. It was refreshing to view this Old Favorite of mine inspite of the scenes that were cut. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed watching this film as I heard the sounds of Vesta Williams during the introduction so what's not to like about that right!

Im very happy that i was able to purchase this movie through this company. It's the movie that i've always wanted and searched for.This movie Women of Brewster Place has a lot of meaning and culture that will remind women on how far we have come. I really love and im in search for others of the same meaning.
